Meet the Clinician!
Welcome! So happy to have you here.
Leirys Ramirez, M.A., CCC-SLP, is an American Speech-Language-Hearing Association certified bilingual pediatric Speech Language Pathologist.
Her journey working with children with special needs began in 2018 as a registered behavior technician and then assistant behavior analyst. She then began her speech and language master’s degree from the University of Central Florida and graduated in 2023.
Since then, she has gained experience working in a variety of settings such as tele-health, home-based, school-based, and clinic-based therapy services. Her experience entails working with children with ASD, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Angelman Syndrome, receptive-expressive language and articulation delays as well as a variety of other developmental delays to improve their communication capabilities while fostering a lasting bond through personalized, child-led, and play-based therapy.
From the clinician:
“My main priority during therapy is to create a connection based on trust, support, and shared play experiences to give children and their families access to services that encourage self-advocacy, expression, and meaningful progress in their goals in therapy as well as in their everyday life.”
